The works, supplies or services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for the following reason: absence of competition for technical reasons

Explanation

Once the tuners are installed within a cryomodule, they will be inaccessible for maintenance without extensive engineering works, causing significant downtime at great financial cost. It is for this reason that the tuner must operate reliably at temperatures of 2K for an operational period of 20 years minimum. This SSA relates specifically to the purchase of the electromechanical actuators, which perform slow/coarse tuning of the cavities.
