The NWSC invites experienced consultants to submit their Expressions of Interest for Consultancy Services to Undertake Design and Tender Documents Review, Construction Supervision and Social Safeguards Support for the Water Supply and Sanitation Works.

Scope of Services
• Design Review: v Review and update of existing documentation (Master plan, Preliminary design, Detail Design, ESIA,etc.)
• Undertake geotechnical investigations, topographical survey, layout & setting out details of the proposed works, bills of quantities, drawings and Health & safety requirements
• Complete and Update the ESIA and RAP to cover any changes in the design update
• Tender Documents Review
• Assistance in the Tendering Process
• Attending the contractors’ pre-bid meeting and supporting NWSC in providing appropriate responses to requests for clarification from bidders.
• Participating in the evaluation process, providing technical input during the evaluation of bid submissions, and supporting NWSC in the preparation of the bid evaluation report.
• Participation in pre-contract negotiations and supporting the NWSC in the preparation of the works contract.
• Construction Supervision including the defects liability period
• Social Safeguards (Social Component)
• Propose tariffs for water and sanitation services, to be provided under the management of NWSC and their sustainability
• Assessment of ability of refugees to pay for the water and sanitation services
• Modulus operandi of the NWSC’s management of water and sanitation services within the refugee settlements
• Hygiene and sanitation sensitization workshops for the settlers.
