INVITATION FOR QUOTATIONS

1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project which appeared in United Nations Development Business (UNDB) Issue No. WB-0P0015674 dated 28.11.2021 and the National e-Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST) dated 14/07/2025.

2. The TANZANIA COMMISSION FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY has received LOAN financing from the The World Bank towards the cost of the Supply and Installation of Office Facilities and Furniture for COSTECH Bun Hub, DTBI Space and Conferences in Dar es Salaam, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Installation of office facilities and furniture for COSTECH Bun Hub, DTBI space and Conferences in Dar es Salaam. “For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.”

3. You are hereby invited to submit your price quotation for supplying the goods as described in the Schedule of Requirements and Prices attached in Section II.

4. The Quotations shall be valid for 120 days.

5. The required delivery period is 30 days from the issuance of the purchase order

6. The deadline for submission of quotations is 2:00 PM hours local time on 26/02/2026.

7. Quotations will be opened promptly thereafter through NeST and its opening details will be available through NeST.

8. Quotations not received through NeST shall not be evaluated irrespective of the circumstances.
