1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project, which appeared in the United Nations Development Business (UNDB) Issue No. WB-P90351-12/21 dated 14/12/2021 and the National e-Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST) dated 31/05/2025.

2. The TARURA - PWANI REGIONAL OFFICE has received CREDIT from the International Development Association (IDA towards the cost of the Bottleneck Improvements In Pwani

Region (Bagamoyo And Chalinze District)ruvu-milo (AE.092/WB-RISE- P164920/379008/2023/24/W/01), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Bottleneck Improvement along Mohoro- Kipoka road 6.0km in Rufiji District.

3. The TARURA - PWANI REGIONAL OFFICE now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Bottleneck Improvement along Mohoro- Kipoka road 6.0km in Rufiji District for: Bottleneck Improvement along Mohoro- Kipoka road 6.0km in Rufiji District

4. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” fourth edition, November 2020, as well as the Public Procurement Act, CAP 410, and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from TARURA - PWANI REGIONAL OFFICE, BONIFACE J. KASIMBA, P.O.BOX 30458 KIBAHA, and inspect the bidding document through NeST. A complete set of bidding document(s) in ENGLISH may be accessed through NeST freely.

6. Bidders are required to register through NeST and pay the bid participation fees indicated in the NeST (https://nest.go.tz/nest-tenderer/wallet/tender-charges) to be able to participate in this Bidding process. NeST payment user guide is made available in the NeST dashboard.

7. Bids must be submitted electronically through NeST on or before 2:00 PM local time on 19/12/2025. Bid(s) will be opened promptly thereafter through NeST. Bid opening details will be available to the through NeST.

8. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Bidding Documents.

9. Bids not received or opened through NeST shall not be accepted for evaluation, irrespective of the circumstances.
