INVITATION FOR BIDS

FOR

SUPPLY OF HD PHOTOCOPY MACHINE, SCANNERS AND COLOURED PRINTERS,

TENDER NO. AE.001/WB-TanTIP – P165660/308189/2022/23/G/04.

1. The Government of United Republic of Tanzania has received credit in the form of an IDA financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Tanzania Transport Integration Project (TanTIP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward Payments Under the Contract for Supply of HD Photocopy Machine, Scanners and Coloured Printers, Tender No. AE.001/WB-TanTIP – P165660/308189/2022/23/G/04.

2. The Tanzania National Roads Agency now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply of HD Photocopy Machine, Scanners and Coloured Printers, Tender No. AE.001/WB-TanTIP – P165660/308189/2022/23/G/04.

3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Tendering using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Fourth Edition - November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. The Bidding Documents are available on the following website www.taneps.go.tz. The Bidders will be required to register on the TANePS to be able to participate in this bidding process. All requests for clarification(s) should be sent through TANePS and the Employer will send responses to Clarifications and Amendments through TANePS - https://www.taneps.go.tz and email notification will also automatically be sent to those Bidders who have started working on this Invitation Notice. The Bidders would be responsible for ensuring that any addenda available on the website is also downloaded and incorporated.

5. Tenderers are required to register on the TANePS and pay tender participation fee indicated in the TANePS to be able to participate in this tendering process.

6. All tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in the format provided in the tendering document.

7. Bids must be submitted through the Tanzanian National Electronics Procurement System (TANePS) web-based link http://www.taneps.go.tz on or before 10:00 hours local time on 29th May, 2023. The Employer shall not be held liable for any delays due to system failure beyond its control. Even though the system will attempt to notify the Bidders of any updates, the Employer shall not be liable for any information not received by the bidder. It is the Bidders’ responsibility to verify the website for the latest information related to this Bidding process. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter through TANePS.

8. Tenders not received through TANePS shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
