• The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Fruit and vegetable grading, packaging and processing equipment for ALCs in Balkhi district and Khujand city packaged in three lots[1].
• The State Institute “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” Project Management Unit (AED PMU) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for lots as follow:
• Lot 1 - Grading equipment for round fruit packaging (2 tons per hour) - 2 Set to be installed in ALCs in Balkhi district and Khujand city in Tajikistan
• Lot 2 - Manual packaging equipment (18 Places) for cherries, grapes (1,5 tons per hour) - 2 Set to be installed in ALCs in Balkhi district and Khujand city in Tajikistan
• Lot 3 – Potato, carrot, onion processing equipment for packaging in 5, 10 and 20 Kg pre-formed bags - 2 Set to be installed in ALCs in Balkhi district and Khujand city in Tajikistan Bidders may Bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the Bidding document.

Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016, and revised in September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. .

4. Interested eligible Proposers may obtain further information from the State Institute “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” Project Management Unit, procurement.srasp@gmail.com, and inspect the request for proposals document during office hours 0800 to 1700 hours at the address given below.

5. The bidding document in English language may be obtained by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below. The document will be sent by email.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before April 21, 2026, 15:00 hrs. Dushanbe time. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The outer Bid envelopes marked “Original Bid”, and the inner envelopes marked “Technical Part” will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below on April 21, 2026, 15:10 hrs. All envelopes marked “Second Envelope: Financial Part” shall remain unopened and will be held in safe custody of the Purchaser until the second public opening.
