• The Government of Tajikistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project (SRASP), additional financing, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for “Procurement of services for sorting and packaging, loading, transportation and distribution of seeds to vulnerable farmers in all the regions of the Republic of Tajikistan”.
• The State Institute “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” Project Management Unit (AED PMU) now invites eligible Service Providers for “Procurement of services for sorting and packaging, loading, transportation and distribution of seeds to vulnerable farmers in all the regions of the Republic of Tajikistan”.
• Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” September 2023 Edition (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
• Interested Service Providers may obtain further information from the State Institute “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” Project Management Unit (AED PMU) and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 8:00 to 17:00 at E-mail: procurement.srasp@gmail.com as well as at the address given below.
• All interested Service Providers can obtain a full package of bidding documents in Russian by submitting an official letter to the address below. The documents can be obtained from the office of AED PMU located at the address below.
• Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before August 19, 2024 10:00 a.m. Electronic Bidding will not be accepted for this RFB. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on August 19, 2024 at 10:10 a.m.
• Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 78 000.00 (seventy-eight thousand) Tajik Somoni.
