Contract Title: Expansion of a new building to the existing school No. 24 of the Nurabad district (Lot No.1), expansion of a new building to the existing school No. 56 of the Farkhor district (Lot No.2) of the Khatlon region.

• The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has received grant funding in the amount of US$50.0 million from the World Bank for the implementation of the "Learning Environment – Foundation of Quality Education Project” (the Project, LEARN) during 2023-2029. The Project will be implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science (MOES).
• The Ministry of Education and Science hereby invites eligible Bidders to submit sealed Bids for the expansion of a new building to the existing school No.24 of Nurobod district - Lot No. 1 and the expansion of a new building to the existing school No.56 of Farkhor district,of Khatlon region - Lot No. 2.
• Biddings will be conducted through the international competitive procurements using Invitation to participate in tenders as specified in the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers Guidelines for the Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services by World Bank Borrowers under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants, published in January 2016, revised in November 2017, August 2018 and November 2020 (the “Procurement Regulations”), and are open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

• Tender documentation in Russian can be received by interested eligible Bidders after submitting a written application to the specified email address: project.learn@maorif.tj or during business hours from 09:00 to 17:00 at the address: Tajikistan, Dushanbe, st. Nisormuhammad 13A, building of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan.
• Bids must be delivered to the address below no later than April 16, 2024 by 3:00 p.m. Electronic biddings will not be permitted. Late applications will be rejected. Bids will be opened publicly in the presence of designated representatives of the Bidders and all others, who wish to be present at the address below.
• Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security Guarantee” in the amount of Lot No. 1 – 44,000.00 somoni, Lot No. 2 – 55,000.00 somoni.
