Quotations are hereby invited for the Designing of Integrated Urban River Management Solutions at Kaalspruit River Catchment Charette. The client is seeking to engage a consultancy to design and facilitate a Charette Design Process; collaborative workshop series with diverse stakeholders that will generate decision-support outputs to inform the preparation of an Action Plan; Implementation Roadmap and Strategic Governance and Management Framework for the Kaalspruit River Catchment in Gauteng, South Africa. The objective of this assignment is to design and facilitate a participatory, stakeholder-driven Charette Design Process for the Kaalspruit River Catchment, in order to: • Create co-designed decision-support inputs to inform the future design and preparation of an Action Plan and Implementation Roadmap for ecological restoration, urban river resilience, and sustainable land-use planning, inclusive of indicative governance arrangements, investment pathways and financing mechanisms; • Provide recommendations to inform the development of a Strategic Governance and Management Framework to strengthen multi-stakeholder coordination and long-term catchment management; • Support the co-development of design scenarios and identification of priority interventions, drawing from international best practices, local knowledge and community needs.
