Re-Advertisement: Bids are hereby invited for the appointment of service provider to do drilling, installation and water testing for Ssethembe services, Mhlanagane Msinga. Scope of work: • Site assessment and confirmation of borehole location with the client representative; • Borehole drilling to an adequate depth and formation testing to achieve a sustainable yield; • Installation of casing, screen, gravel pack, and sanitary seal as per accepted engineering practice; • Supply and installation of submersible pump, rising main, electrical reticulation, pump control panel and float/level controls sized to meet agreed yield and demand; • Construction of concrete borehole headworks, kiosk/stand and fencing where required; • Disinfection and bacteriological and physio-chemical sampling and testing to South African drinking-water standards (SANS 241); • Commissioning, pump testing (yield and drawdown), handing over, and provision of as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manual and 12-month defect liability period; • Training of client-appointed operators on routine operation and basic maintenance.
