Quotations are hereby invited for the Repairs and service of 3.3kV electric motor on a once-off period. Project Scope • Rewind the stator windings; • VPI the stator; • Re-sleeve DE bearing housing; • Re-sleeve NDE bearing housing; • Build and machine DE bearing journal; • Build and machine NDE bearing journal; • Fit new both DE and NDE bearings; • Fit new heater bands; • Fit new Thermistors on Windings, and on both bearings; • Crack test rotor shaft; • Fit new rotor shaft locking devices; • Fit new seal DE and NDE; • Cut NDE shaft to fit sealed brake; • Make new engraved stainless steel name plate; • Fit new steel cowl; • Test run the motor, provide test certificate; • Sun blast, marine paint the motor and return back; • Paint with green SABS G29 BS 381C-631; • All material must be SABS approved; • Fit new fan cover on SO3 motor it is damaged; • Fit new terminal box and fan cover on SO1 motor; • Fit new terminal box and fan cover on Do1 motor.
