The general building maintenance service at Randburg depot entails the following but not limited to: a) General building works: • Repair and replacement of wall and floor tiles; • Painting of internal and external walls, including ceilings; • Minor masonry, plastering, and patching works. b) Electrical works: • Inspection, repair, and replacement of electrical fittings, switches, sockets, and wiring; • Maintenance of lighting systems, including LED retrofitting where necessary. c) Steel & metal works: • Fabrication & installation of steel cages to safeguard the air conditioners units. d) Aluminium windows & glazing: • Supply & installation of aluminium sliding window framing and glass panels • Sealing & adjustment of window fitting. e) Perimeter security: • Supply & installation of concertina barbed wire on a boundary wall. f) Waterproofing & roofing: • Repair and application of a waterproofing on roof.
