Quotations are hereby invited for the appointment of a service provider, firm or a consortium to undertake within a period of 08 months, the recordal of land use and land rights for the Bolata Traditional Council situated in the Maluti-A-Phofung Local Municipality within Thabo Mofutsanyane district in the Free State Province. Scope of work: The main objective for the recordal of land use and land rights must be: a) Recognize existing types of land tenure; b) Provide resolutions towards existing land disputes; c) Contribute towards the spatial development vision of the Bolata LPP, land use Scheme and Spatial Development Framework (SDF) of the local municipality; d) Aid towards planning and development decisions across all sectors of government; e) Provide clear and accessible information to the public and private sector and provide direction for investment purposes; f) Include previously disadvantaged areas, areas under traditional leadership, rural areas, informal settlements, slums and land holdings of state-owned enterprise and government agencies and address their inclusion and integration into spatial, economic, social and environmental objectives of the relevant sphere; g) Address historical spatial imbalances in development; h) Provide direction for strategic development, infrastructure investment, promote efficient, sustainable and planned investments by all sectors and indicate priority areas for investments in land development; i) Create trust and stimulate investment; j) Take recognizance of any environmental management instrument adopted by the relevant environmental management authority.
