Proposals are hereby invited for Integrated Digital Support Pathways for Youth (YOMA). Goals and Objectives: Under the direct supervision of the Innovation Specialist and overall supervision of the Deputy Representative, the Institutional contractor will be expected to deliver on the following results: - Technical advice to foster a more cohesive and integrated approach within South Africa’s ecosystems to address youth unemployment, aligning efforts across governments, private sector, and civil society organizations. - Support the creation of comprehensive use cases for digital identity systems, including their integration with government to-person and person-to-person payment and support systems. - Explore and advance the development of tokenization mechanisms to support the transition from learning to earning, enhance employment pathways, incentivize social impact, link social protection systems to work/learning opportunities, to promote sustainable livelihoods for youth. - Explore and advance the use of innovative finance and alternative credit models that support young people to pathway into sustainable and impact-driven livelihoods, through entrepreneurship. - Design and provide technical advice for piloting innovative use cases underpinned by Decentralized Identifiers (DID), providing a single view of the client framework, enabling long-term tracking, youth nudging systems, and personalized support models for young people. - Offer technical and strategic guidance on both service design and technical architecture to ensure the successful implementation of pilot use cases and scalable solutions.
