Scope: The main objectives of the fraud risk assessment are to: • Identify inherent and residual fraud risks within the organization; • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of existing anti-fraud controls and processes; • Assess the organization’s fraud risk management framework against best practice; • Provide recommendations to strengthen fraud prevention, detection, and response mechanisms; • Enhance fraud awareness and promote an ethical culture across the organization. Risk Identification: - Identify potential fraud risks specific to the organization’s operations, processes, and environment; - Map fraud risks to functional areas, business processes, and key controls. 3. Risk Assessment and Evaluation: - Assess the likelihood and impact of identified fraud risks; - Evaluate existing internal controls, policies, and procedures to determine their effectiveness in mitigating fraud risks; - Highlight gaps, weaknesses, or high-risk areas. 4.
