Expressions of Interest are hereby invited for the City of Cape Town Storm water Master Plan for the Zeekoe Catchment. The existing storm water management system in the catchment consists of both built and natural green infrastructure; and existing Storm water Master Plans and models; where available; will be used as a foundation to construct an updated; integrated hydrologic and hydraulic model on the SWMM 5 platform (PCSWMM Professional 2D). Previous and existing storm water management plans will be evaluated and used; where appropriate; to guide and inform the development of a new Storm water Master Plan for the Zeekoe Catchment. The core objectives of the Stormwater Master Plan are therefore to: 1. Understand and quantify flood risk. 2. Understand and quantify basic-level pollution risk. 3. Propose a suite of practical interventions (including the use of green infrastructure and nature based solutions where feasible) to reduce flood and pollution risk to acceptable levels.
