Proposals are hereby requested for the supply and delivery of four (4) Liebherr Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) Crane Engines at the Ngqura Container Terminal as a once-off purchase. Scope of Goods and Services: Deliverables: The key deliverables of this project will contain the following: a) Quantity of engines to be supplied (4) four, b) Service Provider shall supply engines with the specifications or the latest upgraded version: - Diesel engine Volvo Penta TAD 1352GE, - Output: 356-395kW (1500-1800rpm), - Engine speed: 1800rpm, - Serial Number: 2013836417 (example of current engine), c) The engines OEM data sheet must be supplied with for engines. Written confirmation of the engines model and specifications including the engine data sheets to be supplied, be submitted with a signed letter on a company letterhead, d) For an improved version of the engines, the Service Provider must specify the upgrades /modifications. The Service Provider is required to supply these upgrades / modifications which must be an OEM approved retrofit. The Service Provider must ensure that these engines fit the existing engine rooms for the current RTGs (Liebherr model: RTG 7/5/2/WS), e) The new engines supplied must also be compatible ("plug and play") with the current Engine Management System (EMS) on the Liebherr RTGS, no modifications of the EMS will be allowed. Written confirmation on a company letterhead is required to confirm fitment and EMS system, f) Each engine must carry a minimum of 12-months manufacturer warranty, g) The successful Service Provider is required to deliver the new engines to the Ngqura Container Terminal stores.
