Quotations are hereby invited from service providers for the provision of travel arrangements services for the client for a 12 month period, as detailed in the RFQ. Specifications: 1. Travel Arrangements: • Travel arrangements include reservations for flights (Economy, and, or Business Class), accommodation (hotel/guest house/bed and breakfast - 3 Star) shuttle and car hire (air-conditioning - manual or automatic, transmission type will accompany request). Any deviations to the mentioned shall have to be approved by the client"s 2. Authorizing Person(s) before the booking finalization: • The client is a Municipal Entity, therefore the Travel Agency must be able to arrange the required bookings in-line with the client"s Policy, together with MFMA Circulars from National Treasury. The Travel Agency will be required to look at cost saving and negotiate discounts for the client without degradation in the service. The Travel Agency will have to submit 3 quotations for every travel request from the client, unless under extreme circumstances; accompanied by a valid reason. The Travel Agency must consider all foreign rates and clearly indicate them to the client before booking finalization. 3. Confirmation of Reservation: • Travel reservations/bookings must be confirmed by e-mail and SMS to the Traveller and Travel Office. (ЮАР - Тендер #66093623)
