22-07-2025 Quotations are hereby invited for the provision of kitchen hygiene audit services at Esselenpark Campus for a period of twenty-four (24) months on an as and when required basis. Scope: Audit methodology: The kitchen hygiene audit methodologies are to ensure comprehensive evaluation and adherence to the highest standards of food safety and hygiene and will cover the following: The Initial Compliance Check: The Verification of the facilities adherence to the minimum regulatory standards. This involves checking for valid registrations with the health department and the presence of necessary certifications. Furthermore, the checking of compliance with the country-specific legal requirements including food storage, food handlers’ adherence to regulatory standards, and other critical areas such as pest control, waste management, cleaning and sanitizing. The Evaluation of Food Handling Procedures: The procedures for practicality, relevance, and adequacy, ensuring they are effectively implemented to safeguard food safety e.g. (checklists). The Risk Based Hygiene Assessment: A detailed food safety risk assessment must be conduct using a specialized, risk-based hygiene assessment tool. This initial phase focuses on evaluating the design and workflow of the food service facility to identify potential risks. A Comprehensive Audit Food Safety Practices: The audit must scrutinize storage and temperature control protocols, food serving procedures, cleanliness of facilities and equipment, overall hygiene of the facility, and adherence to good food-handling practices. This ensures the preparation of safe food that always meets or exceeds customer expectations. Laboratory Testing: Surface swabs will be conducted randomly on three of the following areas or items in the kitchen: - Cutting boards; - Food (Raw/Cooked); - Hand wash basins; - Sinks; - Kitchen Utensils; - Food preparation surfaces; - Food handler’s hands; - Water quality. The testing aims to detect indicators on the following organisms and pathogens, but are not limited to Total Microbial Activity (TMO), E. coli, Listeria, Salmonella, Clostridium perfringens etc. This is to provide a scientific basis for the audit findings. Personnel Hygiene Assessment: Personnel hygiene is of critical importance, significant time must be dedicated to interviewing food handlers to assesses their understanding and commitment to food safety responsibilities, identifies knowledge gaps, and provides targeted education as needed. Detailed and Unambiguous Reporting on the Audit Finding: The auditor must compile a detailed report in summary of all observations and findings categorized as minor, major, or critical. This report is finalized and shared with Transnet property, hospitality department together with the laboratory test results. .

Scope: Supply and install Wild Card SSL certificates: - These will be used to secure specified sites and must include at least 8-10 first-level subject alternative names (SAN) subdomain options; - The following client websites must be secured and encrypted (currently active and could grow over time): a) Web based access used for employee self-service (e.g., leave applications and approvals); b) Web-based access for the risk application for compliance and risk management; c) Web-based access to administer client anti-virus and web policy; d) Web-based access to monitors the backups on the servers; e) Web-based access to monitors the backups on the servers (secondary/DR server); f) Web-based access to the management portal for the wireless access network of the client. Basic technical requirements: - The basic technical requirements expected from this service are as follows: a) Compatibility with all major browsers; b) 24/7/365 Customer Support; c) Unlimited re-issues; d) Installation and support of the certificate for all SANS; e) Support on email and live chat; - The winning bidder will work hand in hand with ICT to install the certificates on the sites; - The license must be valid for 36 months from the date of activation and renewed annually. .

Scope of work: The successful legal practices will, as and when required by the Client render legal services on a wide range of areas, including but not limited the following: • Handling litigations and claims on behalf of the Client in the Magistrate Court, High Court, Labour Court and CCMA, and any court of law proceedings (including allocation of relevant legal representatives where applicable such as briefing of legal councils and advocates); • Provide comprehensive legal advisory and administrative support to the Client Legal unit and its personnel; • Provide Corporate, Commercial and Regulatory Compliance legal advice; • Provide labour related legal support and advisory, including handling labour related matters as per Client instructions; • Provide legal opinion on certain Client processes’ compliance with relevant laws, regulations, Acts, and government guidelines and based on jurisprudence; • Handle the Client ’s general legal issues as per instructions given for such, including liaising with relevant institutions on behalf of the Client where required to do so for matters assigned; • Debt Collection/Debt Recovery; • Conduct Legal Due Diligence, where instructed by the Client; • Review and draft policies and/or legislation and provide Training on various pieces of legislation and any other related legal issues; • Assist the Client with some of its contract management functions and administration, where required; • Assist with corporate communication that may need legal inputs (including media communication), where relevant; • Advise the Board on matters of corporate governance and changes to legislation; • Assist the Client’s audit process, including provision of legal confirmations and any other reporting as and when required; • Provide legal opinions and advise as and when requested by the Client; • Any other field of Law that is relevant to the working environment of the Client; • Any other legal related matter as may be required by Client from time to time. .
