Expressions of interests are hereby invited for field testing of selective global certifications and buyers’ frameworks in three countries. The objective is to assist the client in conducting Field Testing in Vietnam; Pakistan; and South Africa; which are among the largest markets for the clients trade and SCF investment and advisory. A small sampling of certifications and buyers’ frameworks; selected by the client; will be field tested. Validation will focus on MRV (measurement-reporting-verification); audit protocol; quantitative climate outcomes; and development impact effectiveness (i.e.; jobs; MSMEs; export; access to finance). Field assessment will also consider ease of implementation; including financing needs; of such certifications and frameworks by lead-firm buyers; banks; suppliers; including MSMEs (i.e.; tier 2 and 3 suppliers) and smallholders. The exercise will be anchored on how the client can more effectively utilize robust certifications to boost impact for our clients and stakeholders on the ground as we expand our climate trade and SCF business with private sector partners.
