Scope: (i) Order expediting and follow up, transport, freight forwarding and related services from the point of origin to the destination as specified in the forwarding/shipping instructions; (ii) Management of the entire transport chain, logistic functions and related activities from the points of origin to the destinations, including all elements of the various modes of transport up to and including delivery to the pre-defined destination; (iii) Provision of equipment, facilities, qualified personnel, expertise and other means necessary to perform the transport, freight forwarding and related services in accordance with best commercial practices; (iv) Import and export custom formalities and local delivery; (v) Consolidation, export packing, palletizing, shrink-wrapping and marking/labeling of products for shipments from suppliers of goods, Entities, and Contingent location; (vi) Surface and/or airfreight shipment of dangerous goods (DG) cargo (excluding weapons and ammunition); (vii) Capability and readiness to comply with integration with the SAP Transport Management Module and the Carrier Collaboration Portal, and (viii) Provision of quarterly data linking on Purchase Orders, including route details, cargo volumes and modes of transport.
