Formal written quotations are hereby invited from service providers for the manufacture and installation of K9 Kennel in patrol vehicle dog for the Department of Community Safety for Municipality. Specifications: Manufacture and installation of K9 dog vehicle Kennel in patrol vehicle: 1. Removal of rear seat and backrest, box in the base of seat with aluminium plate; 2. Manufacture steel frame, cladded with aluminium plate including a divider behind front seats to fit the complete profile of the vehicle; 3. The bulkhead must contain aluminium grid that is covered with a sliding window that can cover the grid, size ±600mm x 400mm; 4. Area between boot and roof must be closed with aluminium and fitted with or grid to make viewing to back of vehicle possible; 5. Fit a centre divider separating the kennel to accommodate two dogs, one behind driver and one behind passenger; 6. All joints to be sealed with sika flex; 7. Floor of kennel to be fitted rubber carpeting to avoid sliding of the dog; 8. Remove factory fitted rear door panels and replace with aluminium plates; 9.
