Quotations are hereby invited for the Repair to QC05 Forestay Arm STS crane at Pier 1 Container Terminal. Scope: Work to be conducted: • Carry out full evaluation including a risk assessment of work to be performed; • Provide a full method statement of entire work procedure step by step to be included in a project plan [ie gun chart]; • De-rust both kick plates, treat, paint & reinstall with grade 10.9 bolts; • Install new grease nipples on all accessible pins; • Replace both grease pipes and holders to non-accessible Forestay arm pins[OEM spec pipe]; • Lubricate all pins adequately ensuring the grease protrudes out the pin; • Ensure that the greasing system from lubricating blocks to the un-assessable pin are fully functional; • Paint all affected areas Jotun products both under & top coat; • Thoroughly clean work area; • Commission & Test ensuring equipment is working correctly.
