Formal written price quotations are hereby invited for the service provider needed for casting of concrete slabs for water services. Scope: One off each concrete slab to be cast at Zwawelberg Booster Station and Darling Pump Station respectively. Size: 6000 x 4000 x 400 with 50 mm chamfering all around. Minimum excavation required. Ready-mix concrete monolithically cast, 25 MPa (20 mm stone) after 7 days of curing, wooden float finished within 5 mm accuracy. Slab to be on a 1% gradient in the length direction. Curing will be done by the contractor for 7 days (method to be cleared and approved by the Senior Manager: Water).
