The Breede Valley Municipality (BVM) requires the assistance of a suitable and reliable service provider for the rental of a crew cab for a period of 16 days. Specs for crew cab: a) Engine Capacity (Bidder must please specify), b) Suitable for 7 persons, c) GVM: ± 7 500, d) Power (KW) / Torque (Nm): ± 110/404, e) Vehicle must have 4 doors – preferably white, f) Model: Not older than 2020 model, g) No driver required, h) “Dry” rate – BVM to supply fuel, i) Excess payment, insurance and maintenance to be for the account of the bidder, j) Vehicle must be fitted with tracker – report must be submitted weekly to BVM, k) Vehicle must be fully licensed and roadworthy, l) Bid must include delivery and collection from/to the site, m) Bid prices are flat rate which will include weekends and off-peak hours, n) Should the vehicle experience mechanical problems of any nature the onus is on the successful bidder to repair or replace the vehicle within 24 hours from time of incident. Hours not worked due to break downs will not be paid, where a pro rata (8-hour workday) basis for the calculation of the net rate will be used. If the vehicle that has a break down and undergoes mechanical repairs, the vehicle must be kept at the bidder’s premises, or premises identified by the bidder.
