Tenders are hereby invited for the following: Provision for technical services to the tower testing station on an “as and when required” basis over a twenty-four (24) month period. Specifications: Technical Services Team will be required to: • Lift and connect steel wire ropes (Rope diameter range: 10mm to 48mm) onto test objects such as transmission tower (Max height: 60m); • Lift and connect LT200 loadcells to test objects (Loadcell capacity range: 1-ton to 100Ton) (Max height: 60m); • Position pulleys (various sizes) onto reaction frames (max sheave is for 48mm ropes); • Attach and remove steel wire ropes from the reaction frames (Rope diameter range: 10mm to 48mm) (Max height: 60m); • Connect and disconnect hydraulic cylinders to anchorage blocks; • Operate electrical machinery such as hoists and winches; and • Operate lifting machinery such as 8-ton rail mounted tower crane and 4-ton forklift.
