NOTICE AND INVITATION TO SUBMIT A PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENT

Lebalelo Water User Association (LWUA) invites prospective applicants to submit pre-qualification documents for the design and construction of the 10 Ml/d Havercroft WTW and the 21 ML/D Spitzkop WTW.

The purpose of issuing this document is:

• To afford applicants who are individual contractors or joint ventures of more than one company with a CIDB grading of 9 CE and B-BBEE level of 4 or above, and who are experienced in civil engineering works, water retaining and building structures and mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and appurtenant works of this nature an opportunity to formally express their interest in tendering for Contract No LWOT-PMBI-P003-RFI-002;
• To allow applicants to timeously identify appropriate resources and sources of expertise which may include joint venture members, specialist suppliers or subcontractors with experience in this type of work; and
• To pre-qualify suitably qualified and experienced individual companies or joint ventures and specialist suppliers and subcontractors as prospective applicants for the Contract.

The Pre-qualification document will be available from 06 December 2023.

In order to obtain the Pre-qualification document, send an e-mail to OMMWTW2F@ANJV.CO.ZA requesting a copy of the document.

All queries in respect of this Pre-qualification Document must be addressed in writing to the Project Manager as per the details below:

The latest date for receipt of queries shall be no later than 16:00 (GMT+02:00) on the date 4 days prior to the application submission date. Queries received after this date will not receive a response.

A non-compulsory clarification meeting via Microsoft Teams with representatives of the Employer will take place on Thursday 11 January 2024. The link to the meeting will be forwarded to all applicants who submitted their letter of intent to submit a pre-qualification document.

The closing time and date for the submission of pre-qualification documents is 14:00 on Friday 26 January 2024.

Completed Pre-qualification Documents must be downloaded onto a SharePoint folder. A specific folder will be created for each applicant who submitted their letter of intent to submit a pre-qualification document: The specific link for each applicant’s folder will be forwarded to them before the submission date.

Telephonic, facsimile and late pre-qualification documents will not be accepted.
