Tenders are hereby invited for the following: 6A Counter weight structure repairs. Scope: The contractor shall supply and perform the following in order to repair the conveyor structure: - Isolate CV 6A; - Clean areas around the counter weight and guide poles; - High pressure cleaning of the counter weight for inspection; - Remove 6A counter weight for clear access; - Strip all old counter weight guide poles; - Replace all corroded angle and channel irons; - Install new poles; - Align all four poles on each belt; - Fit back the counter weights; - Replace 6A counter weight bearings and pulley; - Replace the guide brackets with roller guide assemble; - Should the alignment tolerances be impossible to achieve, the concrete slap shall be cut to create space; - Remove redundant material and tools and clean up working area; - Restore 6A weight for all parties to clear the belt and test; - Replace all brackets on the counter weight; - Replace all guide poles (100mm diameter x 12m x 12 poles); - Supplier to provide own tool such as jacks, hydraulic power packs, slings and spanners to complete the job.
