Proposals are hereby invited for the following: Electrical and instrumentation equipment upgrades at Transnet Fuel Depots for a period of three (3) months. The appointed service provider shall supply the following: a) MCC Panels (100 kW, with 4 buckets, 380 V supply and 3 phase protection) - All MCC Panels must be identical as all diesel depots have standardised on pump power supply requirements that will be supplied through these MCC Panels. The 100 kW/kVA requirement is a bare minimum to be split between 4 buckets; b) Flame Proof Cabling & Components; c) Flame Proof Field Instrumentation & Electrical Components; d) Scada Computer Systems, HMI’s, or similar PLC’s & ancillaries; e) Flame Proof Lighting, Air-conditioning & Components. The following depots have been identified for urgent and immediate electrical and instrumentation upgrades due to repeated infrastructure failures and obsolete equipment: Klawer, Kaserne, Thabazimbi, Nelspruit.
