Tenders are invited from qualified and experienced aircon technicians for the repairs, maintenance, replacement & supply of new air conditioners in the Cape Agulhas Municipal area (Bredasdorp, Napier, Protem, Klipdale, Waenhuiskrans, Struisbaai, L’Agulhas and Suiderstrand) for a period of 36 months. Specification (new & replacement of air conditioners): • Installation must be done with hot dipped galvanised brackets; • All extensions must be done in trunkings; • All installation and extensions must be done with R41 copper tubing; • 9000 Btu must have capacity of 9000 BTU heating and cooling; • 12000 Btu must have capacity of 12000 BTU heating and cooling: R410 non inverter; • 18000 Btu must have capacity of 18000 BTU heating and cooling: R410 non inverter; • 24000 Btu must have capacity of 24000 BTU heating and cooling: R410 non inverter; • 32000 Btu must have capacity of 32000 BTU heating and cooling: R410 non inverter; • 48000 Btu must have capacity of 48000 BTU heating and cooling: R410 non inverter; • Variable fan speed, remote control; • Indoor noise level of max: 41,7dB; • Products offered must carry a minimum warranty of 2 years; • All product items should carry (minimum of one year) guarantees or warranties. Defects will be replaced at the expense of the supplier. The supplier will be responsible to ensure that the products are replaced, delivered and assembled, where required; • The defect liability on all units should be at least one year.
