Scope of work: The following is covered in the scope of work: • To supply high purity gas used for the specialised laboratory instruments; • The tender shall supply the following high purity gasses (99-100%): Nitrogen, Oxygen and Argon gas; • The tender shall also include the Rental of the gas cylinders bottles; • The tenderer shall keep in stock at least ten (10) cylinders every week to accommodate high demand during the peak period to ensure that laboratory services are not interrupted; • Ensure that Amatola Water receives uninterrupted specific gas and cylinder bottle supplies to the Nahoon Dam Complex based at the Regional office at Nahoon Dam; • The supplier shall also include the service of the manifold; • The supplier shall supervise the delivery and collection of the full and empty cylinder bottles and ensure they comply with all the safety, Legal and legislative requirements at all times; • Supply MSDS information for all the products supplied must accompany the first delivery; • A Health & Safety Plan must be submitted with the submission of the Bid prior to the implementation of the contract.
