Scope: Requirements for the Digital Centre in Mpofana: • Networking: a) Installing 10 CAT 6 Network points and terminations with twin RJ45 network wall boxes; b) Trunking based on requirements; c) Power pole based on requirements; d) 13 x 15A electrical socket red plug for computers (10 to power computers, 1 for smart board and 3D printer, 1 for facilitator desk and 1 for BYOD desks, CoC will be required for all electrical work); e) Smart UPS to carry load (offline, 2100 Watt, 3000 VA) for at least 30 minutes after power cut; f) 1 x Patch Panel C6 UTP 24 port PCB; g) 1 x Brush Panel; h) Cable labelling on both sides as per current standard; i) Cable Test & printed result; j) 1 x 24 Port Network Switch (PoE); k) CISCO Meraki MX67 or similar Network Firewall; l) Wall Mounted 12u network cabinet with Fans and lockable glass door; m) 5-way metal power duct Power Distribution Unit (PDU) for cabinet; n) Commitment to 6 months post installation technical support; • Security: a) 3 x High-definition Camera system (with night vision) to be fixed in the digital hub recoding directly to the DVR (3 camera’s - 2 indoor, 1 outdoor); b) Power supply and power twin flex cable; c) 1 CCTV 500GB Hard drive; d) 2 security sensors and alarm system with keypad; e) 1 Alarm panel IDS X16 and electronic siren 15 watt; f) 1 Transformer alarm; g) Creep zone brackets (2 total number); h) Comms cable based on requirements; i) Reed switch (2 total number); j) Battery IDC 12V 7A/H Lead Acid; k) Ripcord 0.2mm, based on requirements. The successful bidder will be expected to supply and install in a period of 7 days. .31-08-2023 Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Appointment of a service provider for the supply, delivery and commissioning of Electronic Visitor Management System (VMS). Scope: The VMS should allow the following. 1. The use of a stand-alone Scanning device; 2. Scanning device should allow for ID Cards, License Card, and Green Barcoded ID book; 3. The solution should have both manual and scanning based capturing of information; 4. Personal information should include details such as Name, Surname, ID Number, Vehicle details, Home Physical address Information amongst others; 5. Scanning solution should allow for integration with access control devices such as boom gate and turnstile; 6. The system should either be cloud hosted or an On-premises solution; 7. Flexibility of reporting on visitors and tracking vehicle details; 8. Easily scalable on the number of devices used; 9. Easily scalable on the number of devices used. .
