Addendum: Amendment to Document: Tenders are hereby invited for the following: Hire of Vehicles and Transport. Scope: This tender covers the hire to the City of Cape Town of the motor vehicles detailed in the document in full working order. Categories of vehicles together with proposed maximum age of the vehicles which City of Cape Town deems acceptable: • Motor cars - 3 years; • LDV’s and Panel vans - 3 years; • 2 ton trucks - 4 years; • 3 - 4 Ton trucks - 4 years; • 5 - 6 Ton trucks - 5 years; • 7 - 8 Ton trucks - 5 years; • Seven (7) seater bus up to fourteen (14) seater bus - 3 years; • Twenty (20) seater bus up to Twenty six (26) seater bus - 7 years. Vehicles will be hired as and when required by the City of Cape Town from the successful Tenderer/s. Contract period: not exceeding 36 months from date of commencement.
