Addendum: Extension of Closing Date: Turnkey tenders are hereby invited for the following: Construction of various Palmiet system infrastructure projects in various areas Package 6: Sub-Package 10. Scope of Work: a. Civil Works: The civil work will comprise of the investigation, design and construction a new inlet structure to house all electrical, mechanical, automation and pipework infrastructure; b. Electrical Work: The proposed electrical scope of work shall comply with all applicable Rand Water and SANS standard specifications to provide electrical power to the new Mechanical and Automation installations; c. Mechanical works: The Mechanical Scope of Work (SOW) comprises of reconditioning/ replacement various of valves and the design, supply, installation and putting into service of a pressure and flow control system complete with isolating valves, basket strainer, control valves, actuators, access steelwork and platforms and sump pumps at Klipfontein Reservoir Site; d. Architectural Works: The scope consists of a new building and its associated equipment and ancillaries (e.g. lighting etc) to ensure that it houses all the new equipment and complies to relevant legislations.
