VACANCIES
The Solomon Islands Government (SIG) through the National Statistics Office (NSO), Ministry of Finance and Treasury (MoFT) with financing support from the World Bank under the Building Capacity in Statistics and Audit (CAPSA) Project is pleased to announce the following vacancies to be immediately filled for the CAPSA PROJECT- NEEC-2024.
1. NEEC CENSUS INTERVIEWERS (1 x Month) 2. NEEC CENSUS TEAM LEADS (1 x Month) 1. Choiseul (1 x Team), 2. Western (2 x Teams), 3. Isabel (1 x Team), 4. Central (1 x Team), 5. Rennell-Bellona (1 x Team), 6. Guadalcanal (4 x Teams), 7. Malaita (3 x Teams), 8. Makira/Ulawa (1 x Team), 9. Temotu (1 x Team), 10. Honiara (3 x Teams).
Mandatory Criteria: (i) The mandatary criteria for the Census Interviewer and Team Lead positions includes: Minimum qualification of form five (5) and above in secondary education, Certificate in Business Studies, Diploma Certificate or so, in Economics, Accounting, Official Statistics or other related disciplines or otherwise a proof of sufficient skills for interaction with Business Establishments and Digital data Collection; must be physically fit and healthy; must be between the ages of 18-55 years (Interviewers) and 25-60 years (Team Leads). Applicants must have basic Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills in the use or application of either computers or software, operating android phones, other mobile phones or tablets. Candidates must not be religiously or culturally obligated not to work in the weekends (both Saturday and Sunday), but can work on any of the two days). If the candidate is a female, then the candidate must not be currently pregnant at the time of submission of application.
