• The Ministry of Health (MoH) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Sierra Leone-Quality Essential Health Services and Systems Support Project (QEHSSSP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Supply and Installations of Assorted Storage Handling, Packing Equipment for Four (4) MoH District Medical Stores in Bonthe, Tonkolili, Kabala and Western Area Rural District Medical Stores.
• The Supply and Installation sites are (1) Western Area Rural District Medical Store Waterloo, (2) Falaba District Medical Store- Kabala Government Hospital compound, Kabala Town, (3) Tonkolili District Medical Store Magburaka Government Hospital and (4) Bonthe District Medical Store Mattru Jong.

2. The Ministry of Health (MOH) Integrated Health Projects Administration Unit, (IHPAU) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders to supply and install Storage Handling Equipment as per Schedule of Requirements to within a delivery period of 120 days. Note that no domestic preference will apply. Bidders must have experience in supplying Storage and Warehouse Handling Equipment.

3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address above and payment of a nonrefundable fee of Five Hundred Leones (Le 500.00) or equivalent in any freely convertible currency. The bidding document may be sent via email upon request upon payment. The method of payment will be by Bank transfer, Wire transfer and Direct payment in the Account listed below:

6. Bids must be delivered to the address above on or before Monday, June 24th, 2024 @ 1:00pm. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address above on Monday, June 24th, 2024.

8. All Bids must be accompanied by:

• Signed Bid-Securing Declaration Form
• Business Registration Certificate
• Documentary evidence showing bidder’s experience in this type of contract.
• National Revenue Authority Tax Clearance Certificate (Foreign Bidders to submit applicable equivalent)
• National Social Security and Insurance Trust Clearance Certificate (Foreign Bidders to submit applicable equivalent).
