         The purpose of the supply contract it to provide the equipment to strengthen the capacities for surveillance and response to communicable diseases at national and local level and support Serbia to effectively participate in the Eu communicable disease surveillance network. The equipment is needed for the National Reference Laboratories" core functions: specific pathogen/diseases characterization, investigation of atypical symptoms, providing advice, recommendations and support to public health authorities for policy development, outbreaks, unusual occurrences, etc.
