The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources 6, through the FY 2026 Budget intends to apply the sum of Three Million One Hundred Eight Thousand Pesos Only (₱ 3,108,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) for the payment under the contract for the Procurement Activity of 14 Janitors to Perform Janitorial and Messengerial Services for BFAR 6 for the period of May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027 individually described as follows:

The term of the contract between the procuring entity and the winning service provider/contractor shall be for a period of one (1) year, renewable for a maximum of three (3) years at the option of the head of the procuring entity, but in no case shall exceed the term of the latter in accordance with “Annex A” which refers to the Guidelines on the Procurement of Janitorial Services of the Government Procurement Policy Board;

The Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) is for the first year only;

All bid prices for duration of three (3) years shall be fixed and shall not be adjusted during the contract implementation unless expressly provided or stated under new wage law and increase in taxes;

Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources 6 now invites bids for the Procurement Activity of 14 Janitors to Perform Janitorial and Messengerial Services for BFAR 6 Offices and Personnel. Contract period for the services will cover from May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027.

Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Services. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.

Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from the procurement activity given below and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount stated above. It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS), provided that Bidders shall pay the non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids.

Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend. Late bids shall not be accepted.

The BFAR 6 reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
