Invitation to Bid for Rehabilitation of Footbridge

1. The Barangay Local Government Unit of Guilayon, through the 20% Development Fund – 2025, intends to apply the sum of Three Hundred Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-One Pesos and Thirty Centavos (₱309,731.30) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Rehabilitation of Foot Bridge at Magadgad, Guilayon , with Project Identification Number 3824. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

2. The Barangay Local Government Unit of Guilayon now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Completion of the works is required within thirty (30) calendar days. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly in Section II (Instructions to Bidders).


3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion, as specified in the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 9184.

4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Barangay Local Government Unit of Guilayon and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.


5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested bidders on January 20, 2025, from the given address and website/s below (if applicable), and upon payment of the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB), in the amount of One Thousand Pesos (₱1,000.00). The Procuring Entity shall allow the bidder to present its proof of payment of the fees in person.

6. The Barangay Local Government Unit of Guilayon will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on [insert time and date] at [insert address for Pre-Bid Conference, if applicable], [insert if applicable] and/or through videoconferencing/webcasting via [insert website, application, or technology to be used], which shall be open to prospective bidders.
May be deleted in case the ABC is less than One Million Pesos (₱1,000,000), where the Procuring Entity may not hold a pre-bid conference.
