Description
The Municipality of Malangas, through the Bids and Award Committee (BAC), invites suppliers/manufactures/distributors/contractors to bid for the hereunder contract:

Name of Project : CONSTRUCTION OF FEED MILL BUILDING

Location : Barangay Candiis, Malangas,Zamboanga Sibugay
ABC : Php 581, 698.45
Source of Funds : Grant
Contract Duration : 30 Calendar Days

1. The Local Government Unit of Malangas now invites bids for the above procurement project. Completion of the works is required within 30 calendar days. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding documents, particularly in Section II (Instruction to Bidders).

2. Interested bidders may obtain further information from LGU Malangas and inspect the bidding documents at the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) secretariat, Monday-Friday (8:00A.M-5:00P.M).

3. A complete set of bidding documents may be acquired by interested bidders on September 15-19, 2025 upon payment of the applicable fee (non-refundable) for the bidding documents, pursuant to the latest guidelines issued by the GPPB, in the amount of One Thousand Pesos (Php. 1,000.00). The procuring entity shall allow the bidder to present its proof of payment for the fees in person.

4. The LGU Malangas will hold a Pre-bid conference on September 15, 2025 @ 2:00 P.M at Conference room, Municipal Hall, Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay, which shall be open to prospective bidders. Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last two (2) years, with NFCC of equal to the ABC to be Bid. The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria. Post qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.

5. Bids must be duly received by the BAC secretariat through manual submission at the Office of the BAC secretariat on or before September 25, 2025 until 12 noon of September 26, 2025. Late bids shall not be accepted. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB. Bid Opening/Evaluation shall be on September 26, 2025 @ 2:00 P.M at Conference room, municipal Hall, Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s representatives who choose to attend the activity.

6. The LGU Malangas reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Section 35.6 and 41 of the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of RA 9184, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
