BIDS AND AWARDS COMMITTEE

INVITATION TO BID

The Sangguniang Barangay of Poblacion, through its Bids and Award Committee (BAC), invites interested suppliers/distributors/manufacturers, to apply for eligibility and to bid for the bid for the hereunder listed project, to wit:

Project Reference No.: 2025-03-003 – DRUGS AND MEDICINES
Project Name: DRUGS AND MEDICINES PROGRAM
Project Description: Purchase of Various Drugs and Medicines Program
Approved Budget for Contract: Php 102,500.00
Source of Fund: Barangay Fund
Delivery Period: 30 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed

Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking similar single project within the last two (2) years with the amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding. The eligibility check/screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria. Post Qualification of the lowest calculated responsive bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement & Screening, Bid Security, and Performance Security, Pre-bidding Conference/s, Evaluation of Bids, Post Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and it’s IRR.

The complete schedule of activities is herein below listed as follows:

3. Pre-Bid Conference NONE
4. Opening of Bids April 25, 2025 – 3:00 PM
5. Bid Evaluation 7 calendar days
6. Post Qualification 12 calendar days
7. Notice of Awards 7 calendar days

Bids documents will be available at the Barangay Poblacion, Valenzuela City, to bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee in the amount of Php 500.00 (inclusive of eligibility documents) to the Barangay Treasurer of the Barangay Poblacion, Valenzuela City and may be downloaded at the PHIL-GEPS website.

Bidder/suppliers must be able to log in the Philippine Electronic Procurement System (PhilGeps) wherein the name of company will be reflected in the Document Request List of them Bid Notice Abstract of the Procuring Entity.

The Sangguniang Barangay Poblacion reserves the right to accept any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to the contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder/s and assume no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.

The Committee reserves the rights to cancel or postpone the date of bidding upon prior notice to prospective bidder.
