Dear Sir/Madame:

1. The Municipal Government of Tigaon, Camarines Sur hereby requests contractor/bidder who are duly registered with Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System, to submit quotation for the following procurement of goods:

To assist in the preparation of price quotation, the bill of quotation is as follow:

2. Contractor/bidder shall submit one original of the Price Quotation with the Form of Quotation, and clearly marked “Original”. In addition, you shall also submit two copies marked as “Copy 1 & 2”.

3. Quotation in the attached format should be sealed in an envelope and addressed to and delivered at the following address: LGU-Tigaon, Camarines Sur through Bids & Awards Committee of Tigaon, Camarines Sur.

4. In evaluating the quotations, the LGU will determine for each proposal the evaluated price by adjusting the price quotation by making any correction for any arithmetical errors as follows:
a) where there is a discrepancy between amounts in figures and in words, the amount in words will govern;
b) where is a discrepancy between the unit rate and the line item total resulting from multiplying the unit rate by the quantity, the unit rate as quoted will govern;
c) If a Contractor refuses to accept the correction, his quotation will be rejected.
5. Quotation shall be valid for a period of seven (7) days.

6. Quotation shall be for the whole project and based on the unit and total price indicated in the Bill of Quotation for a fixed unit rate contract. Currency of quoted prices and payment shall be in Philippine Peso. The quotation shall include all duties, local taxes and other levies payable by the contractor in accordance with the local laws.

7. The Procuring Entity will award the contract to the Contractor whose quotation has been determined to be substantially responsive to this Request for Quotation and who has offered the lowest evaluated price quotation.

8. A Contractor, who withdraws his quotation during the validity period and/or refuses to accept the award of a contract when and if awarded, will be excluded from the list of contractors for the project for two years.

9. The contract will be governed by the terms and conditions of the attached draft Contract.

10. Quotation (Form of Quotation and filled-in Section 2 “Bill of Quotation/Priced Activity Schedule”) should be submitted on or before July 18, 2023 at 8:30 AM. The quotations shall be opened in public in the presence of contractors’ representatives who choose to attend, on July 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the SB Hall, Municipal Compound, Caraycayon, Tigaon, Camarines Sur.
