MUNICIPALITY OF BALABAGAN, PROVINCE OF LANAO DEL SUR
June 09, 2023
1. The Municipal Government of Balabagan has availed a loan from the Land Bank of the Philippines and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Loan
to payments under the contract for the purchase of various Heavy Equipments.
2. The Municipality of Balabagan, Province of Lanao del Sur, implementing partner of the Land Bank of the Philippine, now invites bids for the Purchase of
Heavy Equipments, to wit:

Completion of the Works is required by________ calendar days. The total turnover of the candidates/bidders in the last three years in the same field of the
bid must be at least equivalent to the maximum budget of the contract; enterprises that have been established for less than three years may prove their
economic and financial standing with any document which the contracting authority may deem. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the
Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.
1. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with relevant procedures for open competitive bidding as specified in the IRR of RA 9184 (R.A. 9184), with some
amendments, as stated in these bidding documents and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the applicable procurement
guidelines. The Total Estimated Project Cost for this project is ONE HUNDRED MILLION FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND (Php100,400,000.00).
4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Bids and Awards Committee of the Municipality of Balabagan and inspect the Bidding Documents
at the address given below from Bids and Awards Committee, Municipal Hall, Balabagan, Lanao del Sur.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from June 19, 2023 to July 3, 2023 at 1:00 PM from the address below and upon
payment of a non-refundable fee for the bidding documents in the amount of One Hundred Thousand Four Hundred Pesos (PhP100,400.00). It may downloaded to
any banking/financial institution free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) website . Provided
that bidders shall pay the non-refundable fee for the bidding documents not later than the submission of their bids.
The Municipality of Balabagan will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on June 15, 2023, 2:000 PM at the Municipal Hall, Balabagan, Lanao del Sur which shall be open
to all interested parties.
6. Bids must be delivered on or before July 3, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Bids and awards Committee, Municipal Hall, Balabagan, Lanao del Sur. All bids must be
accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration or bid security in the amount of : TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED PHILIPPINE CURRENCY (PhP200,800.00) in the
form of Cash or Cashier’s/Manager’s Check or Bank Guarantee issued by a universal or Commercial Bank or 5% of the ABC if Bid Security in the form of
Surety Bond.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.
7. The Municipality of Balabagan reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to
contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
