INVITATION TO BID
SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF SPORTING GOODS TO BE USED OF TAYTAY SPORTS DEVELOPMENT OFFICE FOR DIFFERENT SPORTS PROGRAM OF THE OFFICE OF THE MUNICIPAL
MAYOR
The Municipal Government of Taytay, through the General Fund intends to apply the sum of SEVEN
HUNDRED THOUSAND AND EIGHT HUNDRED PESOS (PHP700,800.00) as Approved Budget
for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract Supply and Delivery of Sporting Goods to
be used of Taytay Sports Development Office for Different Sports Program of the Office of
the Municipal Mayor. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall automatically be disqualified upon bid opening.
The Municipal Government of Taytay now invites bids for the Supply and Delivery of Sports
Supplies to be used of Taytay Sports Development Office for Different Sports Program of
the Office of The Mayor. Bidders should have a completed contract similar to the project, within 3
years from the date of submissions of bids.
Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary
“pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (R.A.
9184), otherwise known as the “Government procurement Reform Act”.
Bidding is open to all interested bidders, whether local or foreign, subject to the conditions
for eligibility provided in the 2016 Revised IRR of R.A. 9184.
The Municipal Government of Taytay will hold the Pre-Bid Conference on May 26, 2023 at 2:00PM,
which shall be open only to all interested parties who have presented their letter expressing their interest
and/or purchased the Bidding Documents.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders on May 26, 2023 to June
8, 2023 (until 12:00PM) from the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee for the
Bidding Documents in the amount of Php1, 000.00.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement Office, Municipal Government
of Taytay, Rizal and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below within the specified
hours (8:00AM – 4:00PM).
Bids must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat through manual submission at the given address
below on or before 12:00PM of June 8, 2023. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the
amount equal to the percentage of the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) in accordance with the
form of bid security in the form of cashier’s/manager’s check, bank draft/guarantee, or irrevocable letter
of credit from other banks certified by the BSP as authorized to issue such financial statements.

Universal or Commercial Bank

b. Bank draft/guarantee or irrevocable letter of
credit issued by a Universal or Commercial
Bank: Provided, however, that it shall be
confirmed or authenticated by a Universal or
Commercial Bank, if issued by a foreign bank.
c. Surety Bond callable upon demand issued by a
surety or insurance company duly certified by
the Insurance company as authorized ti issue
such security

Bid opening shall be on June 8, 2023 at 2:00PM. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’
representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.
The Municipal Government of Taytay reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of
bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Sections 35.6
and 41 of the 1026 revised IRR or RA No. 9184, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected
bidder or bidders.
