The National Grid Company (NGC) has received financing from the World Bank in the amount of US$ 5 million equivalent under the Grant Facility for Project Preparation (GFPP) for the Boosting Energy Security through Transmission in Pakistan (BEST-PAK) Program. NGC intends to apply part of the proceeds for payments to be made for consulting, non consulting services and goods contracts to support project preparation activities.

The Project includes the engagement of Consulting firms, Individual Consultants, Non consulting services and Goods Contracts to support technical, procurement, economic, and environmental & social due-diligence activities related to upcoming investments in reactive power compensation systems under Phase 1 of the BEST-PAK Program.

The Procurements will be conducted in accordance with the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (July 2016, as revised), and is open to all eligible firms, suppliers and individuals as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
