• The Human Capital Investment Project, Elementary & Secondary Education Department, Govt: of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through Executive Engineer C&W Division Upper Dir has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Human Capital Investment Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for civil works :- PACKAGE-01 TO PACKAGE-08.
• The Human Capital Investment Project, Elementary & Secondary Education Department, Govt: of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through Executive Engineer C&W Division Upper Dir now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for multiple Bids for the work “Reconstruction of Flood Affected Schools District Upper Dir.” The time duration of each contract is 09-months.
• Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” March 2018 (Procurement Regulations) and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Office of the Executive Engineer C&W Division Upper Dir and inspect the bidding document during office hours (9:00AM to 5:00 PM) Monday to Friday at the address given below.
• The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of PKR 10000/- for each Package. The method of payment will be cash payment the document can be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer C&W Division Upper Dir.
• Bids must be delivered to the address below as per the schedule mentioned in the table below. Electronic Bidders will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below as per the schedule mentioned in the table below.

1- The Bid Security of any bidder found to be providing fake documentation can be forfeited.

2- A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on 28 August 2024 at 11:00 AM in the office of Executive

Engineer C&W Division Upper Dir.

3- Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information

on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the

Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.

4- The bidder will provide Bid Security in shape of CDR in the name of Executive Engineer C&W

Division Upper Dir.

5- The successful bidder will provide 10% performance guarantee on the bid value.

6- Venue of the bid opening is Office of the Executive Engineer C&W Division Upper Dir.
