The Agriculture Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received grant from National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) under Pakistan Hydromet and Climate Services Project (PHCSP) funded by the World Bank. Under the aforesaid grant financing Agriculture Department launched a developmental project titled “Climate Resilience through Horticultural Interventions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” and intends to apply part of the proceeds of the grant to payments for the following to be procured under this project.

Agriculture Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of the following as per the specifications provided in the Bidding Document.

Bidding will be conducted through the World Bank’s Procurement Method i.e., Request for Bids, Procurement Process i.e., Single Stage One Envelop and Market Approach i.e., Open-National as specified in the World Bank “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016 [Revised November 2017, July 2018, and November 2020].

A bidder may bid for one or more procurements; however, bidder(s) are required to bid for entire (100%) quantity of the lot for which he/she shall bid.

Terms and Conditions:

• A complete set of Bidding documents (per Lot), containing specifications of items and detailed terms and conditions may be obtained by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application attached with a Pay Order/Cash of PKRs. 1000/- (Pak Rupees One Thousand Only) being Non-Refundable tender fee in favour of “Project Director, Climate Resilience through Horticultural Interventions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” (for each procurement) to the address given below during office hours 0900 Hrs to 1700 Hrs (Pakistan Standard Time/PST) or Download Bidding Document from the following websites free of cost.
• This Notice and RFB Document is also available on the websites https://zarat.kp.gov.pk; http://www.kppra.gov.pk and http://devbusiness.un.org
• The quoted rates shall include all applicable taxes. The applicable taxes will be deducted from the bills at source or as per the sales tax invoice provided by the firms, if applicable.
• A Pre-Bid meeting will be held as per above noted scheduled at 1100, hours.
• CDR/Bank Guarantee @ 2% of the tender amount shall be submitted on the name of Project Director, Climate Resilience through Horticultural Interventions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa along with the tenders/bids.
• Bids, duly accompanied by a “Bid Security,” shall be delivered to the address given below on or before above noted last date at 1100 hours.
• Late bids will be rejected.
• Electronic bidding shall not be permitted.
• Bids will be publicly opened on the same last date as noted above at 1130 hours in the presence of the bidders who choose to attend and designated representatives at the address below.
• Successful bidders/firms will submit a 10% performance guarantee as per rules.
• The quoted rates shall be inclusive of transportation charges for delivery to all Areas identified by the concerned District Officials of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
• The supply/demand of the goods/supplies/products etc., may be increased or decreased or altered subject to the availability of funds and other constraints.
