The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received financing in the amount of US$ 213 million equivalent from the World Bank for the Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project (IFRAP). The intention is to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments for hiring the services of the following specialist, who will work with the Federal Project Management Unit (FPMU) based in Islamabad as Individual Consultants. |

i) Master"s degree (minimum sixteen years of education) in Social Sciences, Rural Development, Agriculture, Rural Engineering, Economics, or related field ii) Minimum of Ten (10) years of professional experience (after acquiring stipulated qualifications) in livelihood or community development programs, preferably in the context of development projects iii) Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing successful livelihood initiatives. iv) Experience in working conditions similar to Balochistan and knowledge of local languages will be added an advantage. |

Interested consultants must provide detailed CVs demonstrating qualifications to perform the service, as per the criteria defined in the documents titled "Terms of Reference & Required Qualifications," which can be downloaded from link: http://203.128.255.67/ifrap/ The Expression of Interest (EOI) should be sent to pro.ifrap@gmail.com within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement. Qualified female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Nov 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
