Procurement of Polyethene Bags for Container Plants

The Sindh Forest & Wildlife Department, Government of Sindh received grant financing from National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) under Pakistan Hydromet and Climate Services Project/PHCSP funded by the World Bank. Under the aforesaid grant financing Sindh Forest & Wildlife Department launched

a development project titled “Restoration of Riverine, Inland, Mangroves, Dry-land & Urban Ecosystems of Sindh Province” and intends to apply part of the proceeds of the grant to payments for “Polyethene Bags for

Container Plants”, to be procured under this project. The Project Development Objective is to restore productivity of various Forest ecosystems like Riverine, Inland, Mangroves, Dry-land and Urban Forestry in Sindh province.

Forest & Wildlife Department, Government of Sindh now invites sealed Bids from eligible bidders for procurement of Polyethene Bags as per the specifications provided in the Bidding Document.

Bidding will be conducted through the World Bank’s Procurement Method i.e. Request for Bids, Procurement Process i.e. Single Stage One Envelope and Market Approach i.e. Open-National, as specified in the World Bank “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016 [Revised November 2017, July 2018 and November 2020].

A complete set of Bidding documents, containing specifications of items and detailed terms & conditions may be obtained by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application attached with a Pay Order of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) being Non-Refundable tender fee in favor of “The

Project Director, Restoration of Riverine, Inland, Mangroves, Dryland & Urban Ecosystems of Sindh Province”, to the address given below during office hours from 0900 Hrs. to 1700 hours (Pakistan Standard Time (PST). This Notice is also available on the websites http://www.sindhforest.gov.pk. Bids, duly accompanied by a “Bid Securing Declaration” on the official letterhead of the bidder shall be delivered to the address given below on or before 27th April, 2023 at 1100 hours. Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened on same day at 1130 hours in the presence of the bidders’ who choose to attend and designated representatives at the address below.
