INVITATION FOR BIDS

The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost for the implementation of Agro-climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscape (ACReSAL). The Project is implemented in the State by the State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments for works, services and supply contracts in FCT. The Project is Specifically designed to build peoples resilience in the adaptation of climate change in the FCT.

The FCT ACReSAL Project Implementation Unit, hereby invite sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Desilting of 165km Along Flood Plain Areas Within Catchments of Intervention in FCT and Flood/Gully Erosion Control Site at Gwagwalada, Abuja FCT

Date of issuance, Tuesday 17th February, 2026.

Bidders may bid for any of the Activity and lot.

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedure using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

A detailed requirement and scope of works for the assignment are enclosed in the bidding document.

A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of one hundred thousand Naira (NGN 100,000) Only with evidence of payment, payable to;

Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 31st March, 2026 by 11:30am.
